I know this is such an overdue post, but I have been too busy with school and helping out at home to blog, plus the lazy bug!!

Syawal this here has been totally a different experience for us as a family. Ever since my parents came back from their pilgrimage, they have been attending classes regularly every Tuesday plus classes with us the beginners class every Sunday with dearest. Ramadhan has been quite different too, helping out at my aunts place makes it a mini gathering every Friday nights including Saturday. A pity, I did not snap any pics at the shop. It was so well done that recording for a talk show was done in the shop itself. And helping out at the shop on the eve of Syawal was superbly amazing, yesh we stayed till as late as 4am, and customers keep coming in. I must say I have learn a lot such as arranging flowers and matching them, so much so I can do it for customers without consulting my auntie's help.
Dearest too, he learnt alot about flower arranging, because we did it all from scratch, cutting sponges, adding glue to it to add the moss and then arranging the flowers. It is not an easy trade as we think it is, so much so I got pissed off with this couple who was mentioning why so expensive for a small vase with flowers arranged designed to match his home concept!
Besides helping out at the shop, yes many challenges. Being the hot-tempered person I am, dearest had to keep reminding me that I am fasting and I should not be scolding anyone.
Oh yesh, arriving home after leaving my aunties shop at 4am in the morning on the morning of Syawal, I bathed and get ready for Hari Raya Prayers. Yup we had simple breakfast, as advised by Ustaz, to break the tradition of fasting, then we traveled down to Pasir Ris to fetch my bro and SIL and headed down to the field beside Yishun Stadium. I sat down alone as I was exempted... but the moment we were there and I heard the takbir I felt emotional. I am not sure why but it was really emotional.

And the Monday came and it was back to school, I had Econs Test on Tuesday. I doubt I would do well, was in festive mood plus Econs was abit hard to comprehend!

So far things with me & dearest have been smooth sailing except last Tuesday he was a little angry with me. Well we are rather much more comfortable now to talk about any issues, after the huge argument we had that almost led to a breakup.
And today, my visiting would be done with dearest. First we would be going to my brother's place and then to my aunties place. I hoped everyone had a great Syawal and have an enjoyable weekend ahead!!
